It's been a busy few weeks catching up with orders and some exciting news...

I have received my cards I designed for Paper rose and I am delighted with them. I will be taking them along to the GNCCF the Great Northern contemporary craft fair, Spinningfields, Manchester the 4th-7th October...
There are 6 in total but here is a couple to give you a taste!

I also did this lovely 'Britishy' themed card for the Jubilee/Olympics which went down nicely!

 

Workshop Weekend 14th and 15th July

I have just returned from a lovely weekend of workshops at Debbie Bryan's studio and shop, Nottingham lace market, and I just wanted to share some of the lovely work produced....

 Ceramic brooch making....lots of fab brooches were made on the Saturday and everyone seemed pleased with what they had made!

The hen party group in the afternoon loved creating their brooches. It's also nice for me to get out of the studio and meet new people...

Sunday 15th

The 'Young Creative' club went down a treat with adults and children alike and they produced some lovely tiles....

The bead and button making workshops were back by popular demand...

Some gorgeous beads and buttons were created and great feedback received. Watch this space for my next workshop dates!

A visit to Hungary...

I had a lovely break in Hungary and I just wanted ot share some lovely photographs...

We took a boat trip to the other side of the lake where I fell in love with a place called 'Tihany' which was really traditional and gorgeous pottery and hand-stitched textiles were all displayed in gardens...

Love love the 'higgledy piggledy' display of the pottery and the pattern and colours - especially the blue and white!

The contemporary craft fair, Bovey Tracey, 15th-17th June

I have returned from a lovely show down in Bovey Tracey. Despite the rain the footfall was good and I had some great comments about my display. I just wanted to share some images from the weekend.....

I displayed my new plates on the wall along with my porcelain bunting which got a lot of attention!

The British craft trade fair BCTF 15th-17th April 2012

I have just returned from a really good show up in Harrogate and I just wanted to share some images with you...

It was a really good show in terms of atmosphere and a good number of trade visitors from the north. Harrogate is also a lovely place to stay and I stayed right in the town near to Betty's tea room! I also met some lovely fellow makers which is always a bonus.

I was pleased with my display and my old bobbin washing line for my cards...

My Jubilee range went down a treat and I can't wait to get stuck into making them!
